While newspapers and websites occasionally viewed us with reports of the death of "cassette tapes" clinically, to be replaced by the CD, the surprise was in a recent report by the "British Phoneme Industry" explaining that the cassette came out in the era of the free spread of music over the Internet from limbo to life again.

The report, published in January, by the British newspaper, The Guardian, indicates that 50 thousand albums were sold in old strips in 2018, an increase of 125.5% over 2017.

Although this figure is small when compared to times when sales exceeded millions, as happened, for example, in Egypt with the popular singer Ali Hamida, who sold 8 million copies of the "Lolaki" album during the eighties of the last century, but it reveals that this industry did not die, and that nostalgia In the past it may push it in the future towards more expansion.
